Your host and cooking course instructor is Alex Schneider. During his years of training and traveling as a chef, he worked in many renowned restaurants, including Stahlbad in Baden-Baden, Schloss Neuweier, Löwen in Oberstaufen (1 Michelin star), the Orangerie in the Nassauer Hof in Wiesbaden (5-star hotel), at Restaurant Aubergine in Munich (3 Michelin stars), Alpenhof Murnau Relais & Châteaux, Freihof in Wiesloch and Four Ways Inn in Bermuda, until he set up his own restaurant, Gasthaus Backmulde, in Heidelberg in 1993.
